We are open every day except Wednesday and Sunday, our hours are 8am to 5pm except Saturday, 8am to 12 noon.

Wilderness Taxidermy & Outfitters is located deep in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina in the small town of Franklin.

We can custom design your own personal adventure for you, your family, or corporate group. Whether it's fishing, hunting, or eco-touring, we can assist you in your personal adventure.
An African Safari for the price of an elk hunt in the Rocky Mountains? That's a fact, after 30 years in the outfitting business we have sorted out the best deals in Africa. These are REAL hunts in unfenced wild and free Africa. A seven day Safari starts at $2100 plus trophy fees. This includes room and board, professional hunter, land rover, guides, skinners, and trackers with over 1 million acres to hunt. It is safe, clean and world class.
